Hotel employee (H): Room service!
Lena (L): Monica, Monica, wake up! We overslept!
Monica (M): Hmmh?! What? What time is it?
L: It is already 10:30.
M: Oh no! Our airplane leaves at 1 o'clock. We'll never make it!
L: Yes, we will, but we have to hurry. Get up, I'll call a taxi.
Receptionist ®: Reception desk, how can I help you?
L: Hello? Front desk? This is room number 23. We need a taxi right away.
R: A taxi - when do you need it?
L: Monica, when will we be ready to go?
M: In fifteen minutes.
L: Ok, in 15 minutes. Thank you.
R: Sure. It will be attended to immediately.
M: There's our taxi!
Taxi driver (T): Good morning ladies!
M: Hi, we need to get to the airport as fast as we can! Our plane leaves in two hours.
T: Oh, that's tight. There is a lot of traffic today. What time is your flight exactly?
L: The departure time is 1:05 p.m. - to Stockholm.
T: Well, it's no good for me, but I think you should take the subway instead.
M: What's the fastest way there?
T: By taxi it'll take about an hour because of the traffic. If I take you to the central station, and you get a subway from there, you should only need about 40 minutes.
L: Maybe we should do that. Better to be on the safe side.
M: I think so, too.
M: Which subway line should we take?
T: We'll be at the subway station in a minute. You take line 5 to the airport. It should take about 30 minutes.
M: Great, then we'll be at the airport just before 12.
L: Where can we buy tickets?
T: There is a ticket machine on the platform. You can get two single tickets for 4 euros. Don't forget to cancel your ticket when you get in the train.
L: Cancel - do you mean stamp it?
T: That's right. So, here we are.
M: That's great. Thanks a million, we never would have made it without your help.
T: It was my pleasure. That will be 8 euros 30.
L: Here you go, 10 euros. Keep the change. Good-bye!
T: Thanks. Good luck and have a safe trip.
